1. Legal – Senior Manager/Manager/Senior Executive/Executive
Responsibilities:
- To assist Management in providing legal advisory services on legal matters
- Draft and review contracts and other legal documents
- Oversee and monitor litigation and other contentious matters
- To conduct research on areas of law
- To liaise and follow up with external panel of lawyers
- To assist other department with legal related matters or advise required
Requirements:
- Recognised Degree/Diploma in Law from an established university
- Possess atleast 4 years relevant working experience and candidates with exposure working in a public listed company would be advantageous
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Candidate must be resourceful and able to work independently, maintains confidentiality and is results orientated
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
2. Finance – Senior Executive/Executive
Responsibilities:
- Able to handle full sets of financial accounts, prepare bank reconciliation monthly
- Able to prepare financial reports, management reports and other financial analysis according to deadline (if required to)
- To assist in preparation of budgets, cash flow forecast, schedules of audit purposes and tax computation for tax estimates
- To liaise with auditor, tax agent, banker, company secretary and other regulatory bodies if required
- To control and monitor daily records, file and accounting records
- Responsible for any ad-hoc task assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess minimum an Advanced Diploma or LCCI Higher in Finance/Accounting/or equivalent
- At least 3 years(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Application and able to handle computerized accounting system (ACCPAC, UBS)
- Initiative, good interpersonal, responsibility and independent characteristics
- Ability to start work immediately or/on short notice is an added advantage;
- Knowledge on banking & financial facilities including taxation policies and benefits is an advantage
3. Group Company Secretary
Responsibilities :
- To handle all matters in relations to Company Secretarial and to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements or Company Act 1965
- To prepare, arrange, attend and draft minutes of Board and Committee and other general meetings
- To maintain statutory records of all the companies in the group
- To prepare resolutions and documentation to ensure statutory compliance
- Preparation of Circular Resolutions, Annual Returns and statutory forms or documents
- Monitoring and ensuring the statutory records or registers and issuance of share certificates are properly kept and updated
- Arranging for signatures on resolutions or documents (including follow-up and filing of the same)
Requirements:
- Must possess an Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administration (ICSA) qualification and is a member of MAICSA
- At least 5-10 years company secretarial experience, preferably in public listed company/companies
- Familiar with Companies Act 1965, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Corporate Secretarial practice and other related statutory and regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge and exposure to board meeting management, circular preparation and shareholders’ meeting
- Good writing skills and communications capabilities, able to work independently and deliver results within stipulated deadlines
- Good command in Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess high level of professionalism with systematic work approach and organizational skills
